Preparation is the work
The visible finish depends on repairs, protection and surface preparation that happen before the first coat.
A Barrie painting company since 2004
The standard was personal from the start.
RiteKote was built around a simple idea: careful work, calm communication and a finished home should all belong to the same experience.

Cristian · FounderThe founder’s standard
Do the kind of work homeowners wish every contractor would do.
RiteKote started with organized crews, careful preparation and finishes made to hold up rather than shortcuts made to look good for a photograph.
That standard now shapes every estimate, every protected floor and every final walkthrough across Barrie and the surrounding area.
“Great painting starts long before the first coat. Preparation, communication and respect for the home separate an average job from a professional one.”
What the standard means
Premium is a way of working.
The finish matters, but so does everything that protects the home and keeps the project understandable.
The home stays respected
Organized work areas, clear communication and daily cleanup matter as much as the final colour.
The scope stays clear
Written estimates and a final walkthrough keep expectations grounded from the beginning to the handoff.
A calm project sequence
Clear from first conversation to final walkthrough.
Listen
Understand the rooms, surfaces, timing and what you want the home to feel like.
Define
Confirm preparation, products, included areas and expectations in a written estimate.
Protect + paint
Work systematically while keeping floors, furniture and the surrounding home protected.
Walk through
Review the finish together and close the project with clarity.

"After much research and a couple of other quotes, I was happy that Cristian and Pascal at RiteKote were able to work with my schedule!! They were so friendly, professional and detail oriented. They didn't even groan when I made a lame "you missed a spot" joke😆 I am so delighted with the results and reassured that they will be here, should I happen to find any issues. Thank you again, ever so much, Cristian and Pascal!! We love it!!"
